Dr. Marianna Petrosyan opened California Optometry in February 2022 and has over 15 years of experience working in medical optometry. She is very caring for the well-being of her patients. She provides thorough examinations spending quality time with her patients while using the latest and most advanced technology at the office. 

She graduated from Optometry School with honors at the prestigious Southern California College of Optometry in 2010. She has extensive experience working in medical optometry, having worked alongside top Ophthalmologists for the past 13 years. She has consulted and managed thousands of patients in Lasik, PRK, cataracts, implantable contact lens (ICL’s), cross-linking for Keratoconus, and pterygium surgical procedures. She has great knowledge and experience with all the advanced technology of lenses used in cataract procedures.

She also enjoys seeing patients who have developed double vision or have symptoms of binocular vision discomfort. She is patient and passionate about working with these patients and helping them see better with prism lenses. She is certified to treat glaucoma and feels comfortable monitoring many ocular conditions including patients with diabetic ocular complications and macular degeneration.

She takes great strides in learning and staying up to date with the latest advancements in eye care. She has great technology at the office which includes retinal photography, optical coherence tomography (OCT), anterior segment imaging and photography, topography, virtual visual field, and the latest addition of Electoretinography (ERG). She believes this technology is essential in diagnosing and managing ocular conditions which can sometimes be more sensitive than the human eye helping with earlier diagnosis, more precision, and better management of ocular conditions.

Eye care is about having a great patient experience from check-in to check-out and her office strives to do that. The office was designed to convey a peaceful and pleasant atmosphere. She and her friendly staff treat each individual with great care and attention.
 The office also has an extensive selection of beautiful frames in their Optical Boutique, along with an on-site laboratory where quick lens services can be provided for patients, as well as a coffee and beverage station for the patients.

Next door to California Optometry is California Dental. Patients can come and get their dental care needs and have or schedule an eye appointment on the same day.

In her spare time, she has great passion for design, decorating, and food. She also enjoys being outdoors especially in nature or in or by the water and traveling to different destinations with her family.
